Our Plastering & Damp Proofing training courses are structured to FastTrack your learning, you will learn the basics of plastering or Damp Proofing a lot quicker & cheaper than the traditional routes. click on plastering or Damp Proofing for full details.

After attending the Damp Proofing course you will be able to start your own damp proofing business you can also work for our sister company Damp Busters UK we will advertise for you on your behalf for the area you want to work in, so you get the backing of a national company so get materials at a good price etc click on damp proofing above for more details.

Our plastering course is designed with the absolute beginner in mind but are suitable for anybody wanting to learn how to plaster, they are even suitable for those who are already working as a plasterer they give you the chance to perfect techniques, correct bad habits and develop confidence.


WEEKDAY AND WEEKEND COURSES
All courses run every week throughout the year and are condensed into the minimum time to enable students to attend at a time that suits them.

Weekend courses are run occasionally throughout the year for those that cannot attend in the week. Click on plastering above for details or give us a call.

ONLY 6 STUDENTS PER COURSE ON THE 3 DAY PROFESSIONAL COURSE.
With a maximum of only 6 students on the 3 day plastering course, plenty of individual tuition & time to discuss your particular project is assured.

WORK IN YOUR OWN BAY!
You will have your own plastering bay to work in, we do not expect our students to share a bay because we have found this slows down the learning process, you get your own bay at our school most places you will have to share.

FULL HEIGHT BAYS!
Unless you are over 6 foot tall you won't be able to reach the tops of our walls so you will be working from a step ladder, (provided by us) it is very important that you get used to working from a ladder because plasterers use them almost daily.

MIX YOUR OWN PLASTER!
Believe it or not some training schools mix all the plaster for you, this is a big mistake as mixing the stuff is one of the most important parts of plastering get the mix wrong & you are struggling from the start.

MIX IT WITH AN ELECTRIC WHISK!
Some schools will have you mixing it by hand, again another mistake all plasterers now use electric whisks to mix plaster, you will be mixing plaster with an electric whisk from day one, you will learn how to mix plaster by hand just incase you are only doing a small job & you didn't need to use your whisk.

You wil also be cleaning your tools, cleaning buckets, scraping floors etc because this is all part of being a good plasterer, good plasterers are clean & tidy & so are there tools we teach you how to be a good plasterer because its the good plasterers that earn the top money!
